Your Giving Makes a Difference!
When you give to I Will Not Keep Silent Ministries you're helping spread the gospel, put on revivals in which people encounter the one and true living God, host biblical classes and retreats, as well as, help those in need. In our most recent campaign we were able to buy a car for a single mother in need.
Testimony
I was given a very large gift yesterday....a new vehicle!
Our former car (which my daughter named Rocket when she was little) was constantly in the shop. I have spent thousands keeping that car running, only to have us broke down on the side of the road time and time again. I replaced the radiator a few months ago and really thought that would solve all the problems and that we would be golden for a few years. While chatting with a friend right after this particular repair, she mentioned she had started a car fund for me through her ministry I Will Not Keep Silent Ministries. She said that the Lord had told her to do it. I'm pretty sure I remember laughing and I definitely blew it off explaining it was fixed and it should be good for a long time now, since I had replaced the radiator this time. She said I really think we are supposed to do it anyway. We hung up from that conversation and I just remember thinking that if she went forward with that, she can use that money to help someone else because we won't need it. Well, good ol' Rocket broke down again 3 1/2 weeks ago. I brought it back to mechanic, thinking it was probably a cheap and easy fix since the radiator had been replaced. I even mentioned it to my friend and she replied that they were looking at a car for me. I was so convinced Rocket would be easily fixed this time and told her so. However, my mechanic gave me the news that it would likely cost thousands to fix it by the time it was all over. I don't have that kind of a reserve. Every time I've built up any kind of savings, it has gone straight to fixing Rocket. I sat on the news. If you know me well, you know I don't ask for help. Of course, I asked God in prayer and I was basically told, quit putting it off and tell Cher. lol I finally did and then she quickly responded with photos of this car and said "We just bought you this." I couldn't believe it! It needed some repairs and there was a delay with getting it from the mechanic, but here we are today with a new vehicle! Problem solved!
Why so many details you ask? Because 1)I'm a pretty detailed person anyway. You know this if I've ever shared a story with you.😆2) I 100% believe that God is in the details! Just look how He put this all together! This car is a 1997 model, but is in incredible shape and only has 57K miles! That's bascially unheard of! And it became available, RIGHT when I needed it! One of the IWNKS Ministry partners live in the town where it became available and jumped on it. Not to mention, He set the ball rolling by speaking to Cher about getting this done.
Why publicly share that you needed this help? 1) God is so good that I have to brag on Him! Where there seemed no way, He made a way! And I give Him all the glory! He is my provider, my Jehovah Jireh, and I will praise His name! While reflecting on this, the verse Luke 12:24 immediately came to mind, "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse or barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?" 2) I want to publicly thank Cher Butler and Ruthie Dickey of I Will Not Keep Silent Ministries! I am so grateful for this ministry as it has changed my life on so many levels! The car is just yet again another testimony I have of the effect of this minstry has had on my life. 3) I aso thank every single person and ministry who had any hand in the keys to this car getting in my hands! From those who donated, to those who provided repairs, to those who looked it over to make sure it was a good vehicle, etc. 4) I am also so very grateful to my mom and sister who have been letting me borrow their vehicles for nearly a month so I can get to and from work and cart my daughter around to school and to her activities.
As long as this post is, I still don't feel like it is written sufficiently. 😁But please just know, that I am SO SO grateful and sit here basking in the goodness of God!!!! When you see me driving this vehicle around town, I hope it becomes a testimony to the bigness of God's love for us all!
